Christ Church is a non-denominational Christian congregation comprised of people from diverse racial, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds. Our members include a broad spectrum of business professionals-such as educators, entrepreneurs, physicians, corporate managers and executives.

The congregation has enjoyed steady growth since our 1986 inception. We moved to our current Montclair location in 1994 with approximately 500 members. Today, we have some 3,500 active members.

In 1996 we concluded restoration of our Cathedral, constructed in 1911. Many area people are pleasantly surprised to find the facility operating with a vibrant congregation.

Because of the size of our congregation, we offer four consecutive Sunday worship services along with various classes and small group activities for weekly Bible-based instruction.

Known for excellence in community service, church administration, and corporate decorum, Christ Church provides pastoral oversight and extensive leadership support to several growing churches in the region. We have also planted churches in Freehold, Newark, Piscataway, and in Yonkers, New York.

The teaching portion of our service is televised every Sunday on four cable networks and is heard daily on drive-time radio. This media opportunity allows us to penetrate over ten million homes. Thus, the gospel is presented to approximately 24 million people each week within the New York metropolitan area.
