"The Overcomers is a fellowship of men and women who have been affected, either directly or indirectly, by the abuse of alcohol, mood-altering chemicals, and overall problems." We believe that as we look to our loving God for help and put into practice those principles for living which He has given in His Word, we shall find both strength and freedom we need to live productive and happy lives. We believe that our Higher Power is JESUS CHRIST our Lord and Savior.

The Overcomer's Ministry, led by Arnold and Ann Brown,is designed to meet the spiritual, emotional
and physical needs of the whole person. Overcomer's encourages daily
prayer, reading of scripture and church attendance. We utilize a Biblically-based 12-step program, recognizing that the only "Higher
Power" is JESUS CHRIST. Our goal is
to let you know that you don't need to face your battle against drugs or
alcohol alone. When you submit your battle to Jesus, believing in His ability
to set you free, you will be delivered from your addiction! Stay close to
Jesus by loving, trusting, and communicating with Him. Then watch God's
glory bring you the victory! Our group leaders are chosen not to govern,
but to serve. There is only one Authority in our group -- JESUS CHRIST
-- as He expresses His love among us.
