Rupert Hayles provides oversight to the administrative staff, the church's subsidiary corporations, and its media activities. With dual degrees in Accounting and Management Information Systems and graduate degrees in Finance and Decision Sciences from Pennsylvania 's prestigious Wharton Business School. Rupert brings a wealth of advanced training and experience to the organization. Previously, he has held several senior level strategic planning positions in the field of Information Technology with Prudential Insurance Company of America, Cytec Industries, Inc., and Merck & Company. A former United States Air Force officer, Rupert is an Adjunct Professor of Strategic Technology Management at Stillman School of Business, Seton Hall University and has recently published the book, � Practical Strategy: Aligning Business with Information Technology .�

Marlinda Ireland , Music Pastor
Marlinda is the music pastor of Christ and wife of senior pastor David Ireland . As an accomplished musician, she oversees the entire music and performing arts departments of this thriving, multi-racial, cross-cultural congregation. Marlinda is known as a facilitator of dynamic worship services due to her continued dependence on the Holy Spirit's leadership. Marlinda is also a proven anointed bible teacher. |
Lucia Crossley , Executive Director, Impact Community Development Corporation
Lucia Crossley is the Interim Executive Director for IMPACT Community Development Corporation (CDC). IMPACT CDC is dedicated to the enhancement of the community and serves to expand the outreach of the church through social and educational programs and services. For a period of more than five years at Seton Hall University, Institute on Work she served in multiple capacities as the recent past Director of the statewide Faith Based Research Project; Business Development Specialist providing business development training and consultation to community-based and faith-based organizations throughout the state of New Jersey; Director of Community Development facilitating linkages and helping to develop programmatic initiatives with corporations, foundations and public school districts. Previously, she has served as Program Director for the W.E.B. DuBois Scholars Institute and Coordinator of Summer Institutes for Project GRAD-Newark. Lucia holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Rochester and is a master degree candidate for a degree in Education Leadership and Supervision from Seton Hall University .

Marcus Bourbon, Executive Director, Facilities Management & Social Concerns
Marcus Bourbon provides managerial oversight in the Facilities Management Department as well as in Social Concerns Ministry. Marcus's academic training, along with a diverse management and accounting background, has afforded him the opportunity to further the Kingdom of God in a variety of ways. He is a committed member of Christ Church and is currently a district leader in the LIFE Group system, providing pastoral oversight to over 200 families. He holds a Master's of Divinity degree with a concentration in Urban Studies from Alliance Theological Seminary and a bachelor degree in accounting from New Jersey City University . |
Gerald Whitaker, Associate, Pastoral Care & Director, Young Adult Ministry
Gerald Whitaker is a Lay Teaching Counselor and Director of the Young Adult Ministry at Christ Church . As Lay Teaching Counselor, Gerald has extended responsibility in the Pastoral Care Department. These duties include assisting the pastors in providing quality pastoral care for the entire church family through supplemental counseling opportunities. As Director of Young Adult Ministry, Gerald is responsible for providing the ministry's strategic and tactical direction for the over 300 young adults at the Church. His ministry involvement at Christ Church includes serving as department head over Firm Foundation classes, team leader in the Laying A Foundation Ministry, providing pastoral care for approximately 100 people as District Life Group Leader, team member of Intercessory Prayer Leaders for mid-week Bible Study. Gerald, his wife of 20 years and his son Gerell live in Englewood , New Jersey .

Angel Garrett, Choral Director
Angel Lite Garrett has devoted her life as a gifted vocalist and musician to the purpose, teaching, and art of worship. Having worked with such internationally renowned recording artists as Alvin Slaughter, Morris Chapman, and LaMar Boshman, Rev. Garrett is capturing the hearts of contemporary Christian music lovers worldwide. Her latest project, featuring Alvin Slaughter, was released in early 2003. This dynamic CD compliments her previous recording, Ready To Go Higher and For My Friends , each building upon an extensive body of exceptional worship songs. Rev. Garrett is director of the Christ Church Choir, leading over 100 voices in performance at such noted venues as New York City 's Lincoln Center as well as an extensive travel itinerary of concerts and speaking engagements both in the U.S. and abroad.

Temitope Osinubi , Director, Information Technology
As the Director of Technology at Christ Church , Temitope Osinubi provides the coordination and implementation of all aspects of technology which support the operations and ministerial aspects of the Church. Previously, he served as a Systems Engineer at Telcordia Technologies where he worked on several projects involving large telecommunication firms including Verizon, Sprint, and BellSouth. He also served as a Network Engineer at a Software company where he supported the operations of a large data center that provided services for clients such as Major League Baseball (MLB). He has been a member of Christ Church for over five years and is currently serves in the Media department. Temitope holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Rutgers University and he has just completed a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering at Columbia University.

Kelvin Co , Executive Director, Impact Ministries International
Kelvin provides oversight to the media ministry (IMPACT Ministries International) and the audio/video infrastructure of Christ Church . Prior to joining Christ Church , Kelvin served as the administrator of Church of God , Makati , a 1,500 member congregation in the Philippines where he provided oversight to the church's operations. He also brings with him more than 12 years of experience in business management, systems consulting and hands-on experience in various technology, distribution and service industries. Kelvin resides in Bloomfield , New Jersey with his wife Lucy, and their three year old son, Luc Stephen.

Bryce York, Director of Donor Management
Bryce J. York, Jr. is the Director of Donor Management for IMPACT Ministries International, Christ Church, and IMPACT Community Development Corporation. This servant leadership role is foundational to building the necessary relationships to make each of these entities a success. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Regent University; additionally, Bryce brings with him more than 20 years experience in the television industry. Bryce resides in West Orange, NJ with his wife, Tanya and their three children Kayla, Ashli, and Justin. |
Erna LeTemps, Executive Director & Principal, Trinity Academy
Erna Letemps is the Principal/Director of Trinity Academy , the educational arm of Christ Church . She holds a Masters degree in Administration and Supervision with a concentration in education from Montclair State University . She brings 10 years of teaching and project management experience to this position. She was the director of children programming at a National Television station overseas. She's also a performer who has graced the stages of Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center . She combines her educational training and artistic gifts to make the learning experience at Trinity Academy unique. Erna is committed to lead this institution in the promotion of educational excellence coupled with sound Christian values and principles. |
Reverend Karen Thomas, Director, Church Life
Karen helps facilitate the arrival and assimilation of congregants, visitors, and members into our church. As a district leader and minister, she provides pastoral care to over 400 people. She also oversees the Singles Ministry as she addresses the many issues that concern single men and women. Rev. Thomas holds degrees in Religious Education and Theology from United Bible College , Orlando , FL. She brings over 20 years of experience in sales, management, and customer service that contribute to her passion for serving and building people and the ministry. |
Marco Hernandez , Director, Children's Ministry
Marco Hernandez is the Director of the Children's Ministry at Christ Church . He is responsible for the administrative, organizational, and spiritual leadership of this ministry which has over 80 volunteers and 900 registered children. He has pursued and gained a notable career as an Exhibit Designer, Fabricator, and Exhibits Director at the American Museum of Natural History and the Staten Island Children's Museum. His love for God, art, and children has propelled him toward his call to establish a ministry which would invest in the church's greatest natural resource�the children. Marco is a graduate of Parsons School of Design in New York City .
Ann Brown , Director, Pastoral Care
Ann Brown is the Pastoral Care Director at Christ Church , assisting the pastoral team in providing social support, spiritual guidance, and referral services to people facing with personal challenges. Deaconess Ann Brown is a pillar and a model within Christ Church . She has been a member of Christ Church since its formative years, dedicating sixteen (16) years of service to the ministry. Certified as a lay Christian counselor from Somerset Christian College , Deaconess Brown has helped hundreds of people achieve stability in their lives. She and her husband, Arnold, currently lead �Overcomers,� a 12-Step Christian support group structured to assist people grappling with life-controlling addictions and other life altering problems. With a management background of 19-years in customer service, she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience, and understands what it means to care for people and their families.
Jack Redmond , Director, IMPACT Youth Ministry
Jack has been working full-time with youth since 1993. His goal is to see all youth serve God with passion while being successful in their personal, academic, and future career endeavors. Jack has worked with children, youth, and college students as a teacher at Columbia University and in both the West Orange and Millburn Public School systems. He entered full time ministry in July 2000. The goal of Impact Youth Ministry is to train and disciple each youth to: Impact Our Generation for Christ � One Person at a Time! Jack has earned a Bachelor's Degree from Rowan University and a Master's Degree from Teacher's College at Columbia University .
