Dr. David & Pastor Marlinda Ireland

Dr. David Ireland is the founder and senior pastor of Christ Church. A former civil and mechanical engineer, Dr. David couples his keen sense of humor with a precise, analytical style in translating complex biblical concepts into practical applications. He has an earned Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership and is a noted author. Pastor Marlinda Ireland oversees the music and performing arts departments of Christ Church. She has led the church’s choir in performing at New York’s prestigious Lincoln Center and in presenting standing-room-only concerts at our Cathedral. The Irelands are the parents of two children. Pastors Anthony & Barbara Franklin

Pastor Anthony Franklin is the senior associate pastor at Christ Church. He provides pastoral oversight to our staff, Men¹s ministry, and the Small Group System of more than 60 groups. He holds a master’s degree in professional studies from Alliance Theological Seminary. Pastor Barbara serves alongside her husband as the Children’s Pastor overseeing all aspects of our ministry to children. In that full-time staff capacity she provides oversight and leadership to the church¹s volunteer staff, children’s curricula, and children¹s staff. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Nyack College and is the Director of Children’s Ministry at Christ Church. The Franklins are the parents of two children and grandparents of one grand daughter.

 

Pastor Ron & Carol Gonzalez

Pastor Ron Gonzalez serves as counseling pastor overseeing the pastoral care ministry of Christ Church. Best known for his distinct shepherding gifts, Pastor Ron provides direction to the counseling center, care groups, grief recovery, guided prayer, and chaplaincy ministries. He earned a master’s degree in professional studies from Alliance Theological Seminary in Nyack, NY. Being an avid runner, you may see him running at a park near you. Pastor Ron and his wife, Carol, offer caring support to people both inside and outside of the church.

 

Pastor Willie & Diana Freeman

Pastor Willie Freeman is involved in various areas of pastoral ministry at Christ Church. He has successfully led our building fund campaigns. A graduate of Princeton University, he is a vice president in corporate banking, overseeing the day-to-day management of financial transactions. His wife, Diana, who also attended Princeton University and is a graduate of Rutgers University, has been a teacher for 20 years in the public school system. With proven gifts of helpfulness and hospitality, she brings encouragement and comfort to the Christ Church family. The Freeman’s are the parents of three adult children and two grandchildren.

 

Pastor Marcus & Grace Bourbon

Pastor Marcus Bourbon provides leadership and ministry development for more than 400 leaders. He serves as an associate campus pastor for the Montclair, New Jersey location; participating and overseeing the weekend experience. He has extensive experience in campus site development, church operations and management. Pastor Marcus holds an earned Doctor of Ministry degree from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Dr. Grace Bourbon together specialize in interpersonal and premarital skills for single adults. Dr. Grace Bourbon brings a caring and nurturing voice adoptive families and women with stepchildren. With an earned Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Supervision, she is an accomplished educator, senior administrator and consultant. The Bourbon’s are the parents of three children.

 

Pastor Brian & Alesia Jacks

Pastor Brian Jacks is known for his vast experience and keen insights in the areas of administration, financial stewardship and business development. He oversees the Empowerment Ministries comprised of the Center for Business Excellence, Financial Empowerment and the Career Network. He also serves on the Christ Church Board of Trustees and is Treasurer.

A veteran in the wireless industry, Pastor Brian currently serves as VP Corporate Development for the BAI Group where he oversee Wi-Fi monetization efforts for Transit Wireless and BAI Canada while also pursuing new business investments. Pastor Brian has held a number of senior leadership positions in operations, business development and strategy, and was responsible for a number of successful subsidiary launches within technology based organizations like Crown Castle International and Verizon Wireless.

A long-time volunteer leader in nonprofit organizations, Pastor Brian serves on the Board of the New York City Leadership Center and previously served on the Board of Managers for the Harlem YMCA.

Brian holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University as well as an Executive Master’s in Technology
Management (EMTM) from both the Engineering and Wharton Schools of the University of Pennsylvania. Brian and his wife Alesia are the parents of two children.

You may find Brian taking rather long walks on the golf course looking for his errant golf ball in the woods though he did get his first Hole-in-One back in 2008.

 

Pastor Jack and Antoinette Redmond

Pastor Jack Redmond serves as associate pastor over Church Growth and Evangelism. His main role is to empower and equip Christ Church members and ministries to be focused on serving the unchurched and helping them connect with Christ. He holds an M. Ed. from Columbia University and a B.A. in education from Rowan University. He is currently seeking an M.Div. from Regent University. He is the author of multiple books and has worked with several regional steering committees and events. Antoinette serves within the Children’s Ministry of Christ Church as both teacher and served as a steering committee member to build the ministry to serve the families of our community in greater ways. Pastor Ryan and Kristyn Faison

Rev. Ryan E. Faison is the Pastor of the Quest College Ministry and Young Adults Ministry (Quest/YAM), providing leadership and oversight to the community of young adults, college students and emerging leaders. His ministry includes serving as a worship leader and member of the preaching team. Pastor Ryan also serves as an event producer, leading the effort in regional events such as Prayerfest, hosted annually. Prior to serving on full-time staff, he served in ministry leadership at Living Hope Church & Empowerment Center (Trenton, NJ) and served as a paralegal. Pastor Ryan is a graduate of Seton Hall University (South Orange, NJ) and a Martin Luther King Jr. Scholar with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science. Pastor Ryan also holds a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) from Nyack Alliance Theological Seminary (Nyack, New York).

He serves on several boards including the Nyack Alliance Theological Seminary Alumni Board (Nyack, NY), chair of the HomeCorp’s Clergy Advisory Board (Montclair, NJ) and co-chair of CityServeNJ. Pastor Ryan and his wife Kristyn serve in the worship and Quest/YAM ministries, ministering to the needs of Christ Church, the Body of Christ and the greater community.

Pastor Marco and Michele Hernandez

Marco Hernandez has held several leadership roles such as Children’s Ministry Director, Life group leader, and Life Activity group leader. Currently he is the Creative Pastor and also oversees the School of the Holy Spirit. Marco is a professional artist and professor of art whose background in exhibit design and fabrication qualify him to create unique spaces of worship. He holds a Bachelors degree in fine art from Parsons School of Design in NYC and a Masters degree in Fine Art from Azusa Pacific University in Ca.
