Ministries and Services
As we continue to strive towards excellence, Christ Church offers a variety of ministry opportunities and services to its members and community. Spiritual Enrichment Classes
Laying a foundation
This is a seven-week course designed to acquaint the participant
with our corporate vision and the areas of ministry provided by the church
to meet their needs. The course is also provided to familiarize new members
and others with foundational doctrines of the Christian faith.
Leadership Training Institute
LTI is a training center for developing servants qualified to lead
in the local church. The courses provide leadership training that can be
applied to any aspect of the participants lives as well as systematic BibleStudy
comparable to courses offered at leading Bible Colleges.
Social Ministry
Overcomer's Group
This group meets on a weekly basis to assist and support people
in overcoming chemical, sexual, emotional or spritual abuse.
The Counseling Ministry
This Biblically-based program is focused on helping people with personal, psychological and spritual concerns. Both individual and group counseling are available.
The Learning Center
This program offers children and adults alike the opportunity to
learn or improve their reading, writing or mathematics skills through
assistance of state-certified Christian teachers. Preparation for scholastic
aptitude testing (i.e., PSAT, SAT, etc.) is also part of this ministry.
Fellowship Opportunities
Home Groups
In order to foster a sense of community and nurturing relationships,
we have established a Home Group Study. Home groups meet for two hours on
the 2nd and 4th weeks of each month at someone's home for personalized
Bible study, prayer and fellowship. For a list of the various home groups
please see the ushers or contact the church office.
Men and Women's Fellowship
Seperate monthly meetings that target issues relevant to today's
men and women.
Youth Fellowship
Teens gather bi-weekly for fellowship and biblical instruction
on such issues as sex, drugs, and peer pressure.
